The year 2020 has brought unprecedented challenges for many businesses attempting to navigate successfully through COVID-19. Dura is no exception. We know there are still more challenges to come, but we are prepared to meet those challenges head on.
As the year has progressed, Dura has adjusted to follow every protocol to keep our team safe, and we will continue to do so for as long as necessary. We have been doing everything we can to protect the interests of our customers. Even in a pandemic, we are working as diligently as ever to serve you and provide the same level of service you’ve come to expect from us over the years.
Despite the challenges 2020 has presented for all of us, Dura Magnetics has made some exciting progress. The investments we’ve made position us for growth and will enable us to serve our customers better than ever before. Some of these developments will make it easier for you to connect with us, and others will enhance our offerings, giving you greater options to meet your needs. We are happy to be able to share some of the work we’ve been doing behind the scenes to serve you better.
New Website
First, we will be launching a new website early into the new year. This will provide a richer and more robust user experience, making it easier for you to navigate and find what you need. You can expect to see revamped content, improved organization, and a more intuitive design.
As your trusted resource in the magnet industry, we will continue to offer the industry news and information you need to keep abreast of rare-earth developments so you can make smart decisions about your business.
New equipment
We are investing in new equipment, such as our new grinder, as part of our focus on service capabilities. These equipment upgrades will, among other improvements, enhance our ability to precisely machine brittle metal alloys and ceramic magnets, resulting in even more magnet customization for your project.
Facility upgrades
We are also investing in upgrades to our magnet fabrication facility, including new LED lighting and upgrading our heating and cooling system, so we can manufacture in a climate-controlled setting. These improvements will benefit our manufacturing process in a variety of ways as well as allow us to increase precision and control during fabrication.
